Located on the entrance corridor to Orlando, Florida, the Pine Castle History Center will provide a lovely local setting for all types of personal and community gatherings. It will honor the Orange County Pioneers whose hard work made possible the development of Orlando and Orange County.
For more than a year, the community of Greater Pine Castle has worked together to save the beautiful historic home known as the Crawford House. For the first phase of this project, the Crawford House was lifted and moved to a new location in the heart of Pine Castle. There, the Crawford House joins an existing historic home, both of which are being restored as the new Pine Castle History Center!
The Pine Castle History Center is a joint project of the Pine Castle Historical Society and the Pine Castle Womans Club, both registered 501(c)(3) service organizations. The Pine Castle Woman's Club has served the philanthropic needs of South Orange County for over 75 years with an emphasis on the preservation of local history.
Support for the Pine Castle History Center comes from numerous generous individual and business donors. The Ann and Larry White Foundation purchased the lot for the new Pine Castle History Center and provided cash funding for this project. Our other largest donors include the Pine Castle Retired Firefighters, Orange County Parks & Recreation, and ABC Fine Wines & Spirits.
Please support our project donors and DONATE NOW to help us preserve the Crawford House and build a new hometown history center serving south Orange County!
